About Demi
I am a warm, caring and supportive tutor, and a qualified primary teacher with over 10 years’ experience. I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence, feel proud of their progress and begin to believe in themselves as learners. I take time to get to know each child, build positive relationships and identify their individual areas for development. I then support learning through small, manageable steps. I also understand the importance of working closely with parents, so children feel supported both during lessons and beyond.

My English lessons are calm, supportive and carefully matched to each child’s needs. I have a clear understanding of phonics, early reading and early writing, and I support children with reading fluency, spelling, grammar, comprehension and written work.
I use clear modelling, discussion, practice and gentle encouragement to help children build confidence through small, manageable steps. Lessons are suitable for primary-aged children who need extra support, confidence-building or help preparing for the next stage of learning.
