About Alexandra
Hi, I'm Alex! I recently qualified as a Primary Teacher (QTS) and I have a genuine passion for helping all children succeed, no matter what their starting point is. Having recently completed my teacher training in a UK primary school, I bring enthusiasm, patience and a modern approach to each lesson. Throughout my training year, having acquired up-to-date knowledge in the National Curriculum, I have seen how the right encouragement and personalised support can completely transform a child's confidence, and seeing them realise their capability is one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for me. That is why I create lessons where pupils feel comfortable asking questions, celebrate mistakes as part of their learning and take pride in their own progress. Before qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Social, Emotional and Mental Health school, which strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching to individual needs and a create a calm and positive learning environment where all children feel they are worthy and supported. I believe learning should feel encouraging, engaging and enjoyable, not intimidating. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child have that "I can do it!" moment and I would love to help your child experience that too.

As a Qualified Primary Teacher, I provide engaging and personalised online lessons tailored to each child's individual needs. I believe that children learn best when they feel confident, supported and challenged at the right level. Using adaptive teaching, retrieval practice and regular feedback, I help pupils make lasting progress whilst enjoying their learning. I specialise in KS2 and KS1 English and confidently teach all primary subjects, including offering support with SATs preparation. Online lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for all KS2 pupils, whether they need extra support, a confidence boost or a greater challenge. These lessons use engaging resources, live modelling and collaborative activities to keep pupils motivated throughout the session!
