About Rachel
I am a qualified primary school teacher currently living and working in Dublin. I qualified from Dublin City University in 2023 with a Bachelor's in Education. I have recently moved home from London where I worked as a primary teacher for one year. I have gained experience in a range of educational settings including working as a special education teacher, a private tutor, babysitter and dance teacher. I am currently teaching 6th class in a school in Dublin where I have a permanent contract! My interests include dancing, reading and I have just picked up running (like a lot of people!) I also enjoy cooking.

As a primary school teacher, I take a friendly, patient and supportive approach to tutoring. I aim to make lessons engaging and enjoyable while building children’s confidence and helping them develop a strong understanding of the skills they are learning. I always adapt each lesson to suit the individual child’s needs, ability and learning style, using a mixture of discussion, practical activities and targeted practice. I believe in creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and celebrating their progress.
