About Hope

Hello! I'm a qualified Australian primary school teacher with a genuine passion for helping children develop confidence and achieve their learning goals.

With classroom experience teaching students across a range of primary year levels, I have a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and how to support students with different learning needs and abilities. I specialize in creating engaging, personalized lessons that help students strengthen their skills in Mathematics, English, Reading, Writing, Spelling and Literacy.

I believe every child learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges and learning style. My lessons are supportive, encouraging and designed to build both academic skills and self-confidence. Whether a student needs extra support, wants to catch up, or is looking for extension work, I adapt my teaching to suit their individual goals.

Parents can expect clear communication, reliable lesson planning and a positive learning environment where their child feels comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am committed to helping every student make meaningful progress while developing a genuine enjoyment of learning.

About the lesson

As a qualified Australian primary school teacher, I believe every child can succeed when learning is engaging, supportive and tailored to their individual needs. My goal is to build confidence while helping students develop the skills they need to become independent learners.

I begin by identifying each student's strengths and areas for growth before creating personalised lessons that suit their learning style and pace. I use a variety of teaching strategies, including explicit instruction, hands-on activities, educational games, visual resources, problem-solving tasks and regular revision to reinforce learning. Lessons are interactive and designed to keep students motivated while making learning enjoyable.

I offer tutoring in English, Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Spelling and Literacy for students from Prep to Year 6. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to improve their confidence, or is looking for extension and enrichment, lessons are adapted to meet their individual goals.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, although 45-minute sessions are also available for younger students. Each session includes a balance of teaching, guided practice, independent activities and constructive feedback so students leave feeling successful and knowing what they've achieved.

As a qualified classroom teacher with experience teaching across multiple primary year levels, I understand the Australian Curriculum and the expectations students face in the classroom. I focus not only on improving academic achievement but also on helping children develop confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning.

My aim is for every student to finish each lesson feeling proud of their progress and excited to continue learning.
