About MAYA
I can identify when and how to approach a client in need of support through understanding modifications and contraindications. Polestar has deepened my knowledge in current evidence-based research pertaining to movement science, motor learning, bioenergetics and communication. I have the ability to correctly execute and teach over 130 exercises and other variations on the Reformer.
I have a in-depth knowledge of how to help a client to be getting the most out of their Mat classes by using equipment and cues to widen their understanding of how they should be feeling within an exercise and how this exercise can help them to reach their goals. There is no stupid questions when it comes to learning your own body and wanting to get the very best out of your workouts.

I was a student apprentice for a year and half in the Reformer this helped me to deepen my knowledge in as many injuries and contraindications as I possibly could. I have now been teaching for half a year and hope to widen my knowledge through meeting new client's and helping them to live a happier and healthier life.
I am also qualified in Mat and will bring everything I know from the Reformer onto the mat, this will give me the expertise to change up the usual Mat class into a new and exciting, invigorating class every week.
