About Liam
I’m a qualified physics teacher, experienced in delivering the SQA curriculum in Scottish schools. After my undergraduate degree in Astrophysics at University of Edinburgh, I completed my PGDE in Physics and have been teaching ever since. With my in-depth knowledge of both the subjects and the Scottish education system, my mission is to help students excel in physics and mathematics, whether they're working towards National 5, Higher, or Advanced Higher qualifications.
I am personally invested in supporting students with additional support needs, and ASN is a key focus of my classroom practice. I find that one-to-one tuition provides a better opportunity to tailor the approach to a student’s unique needs. With my experience and resources in this area, I am able to support young people with ASD, dyslexia, mental health issues and any other challenges they face.
My lessons last 1 hour and are tailored to each student. In our first session, we will try to pin down what you wish to gain from tuition and will work through a diagnostic problem. Sessions can be online or in-person according to the requirements of the pupil.
