About Simarpreet
I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with a PhD in Biotechnology and over seven years of teaching experience in Math, Science, and Biology. Teaching is not just my profession but something I genuinely enjoy, as I love helping students understand concepts in a simple and relatable way. I believe that the right guidance can build confidence and unlock a student’s true potential.
I want to share my knowledge to make learning less stressful and more meaningful for students, especially by focusing on clarity, strong fundamentals, and real-life understanding. My goal is to support students in achieving their academic goals while also developing curiosity and independent thinking skills that benefit them beyond exams.

I follow a concept-based and inquiry-driven teaching approach aligned with IB and UK curriculum standards, where understanding and application are prioritized over memorization. Each class begins with a quick recap, followed by structured explanation of concepts using real-life examples, visual aids, and interactive discussion to ensure clarity in subjects like Maths, Science, and Biology.
My lessons are carefully planned to match the student’s syllabus (IB, GCSE, KS2–KS4), focusing on problem-solving, analytical thinking, and exam techniques. I guide students through step-by-step solutions, past paper practice, and targeted worksheets to strengthen their understanding and boost performance. Regular feedback and assessments help track progress and address learning gaps effectively.
With over seven years of teaching experience and a strong academic background, I create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and grow academically. These classes are ideal for international school students looking to improve grades, deepen conceptual understanding, and excel in exams.
