Hello! My name is Maryam, and I’m an experienced online math tutor with a BSc in Accounting and Finance. I specialize in helping middle and high school students gain confidence, improve their understanding of mathematics, and achieve better academic results. About the lesson

Hi! I’m a passionate and patient online math tutor and I specialize in helping middle and high school students (ages 11–18) build confidence and succeed in math.

Every student is different — that’s why I tailor my lessons to match your child’s learning style and pace. Whether your child is struggling with the basics or wants to get ahead, I use a clear, step-by-step method that breaks down complex topics into simple, understandable parts.

I focus on:

- Explaining concepts clearly with real-life examples

- Using practice problems to reinforce understanding

- Providing ongoing feedback and encouragement

- Helping students develop strong problem-solving strategies

My lessons are interactive and supportive — I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.

Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, giving us enough time to cover new material, practice, and review questions. Shorter or longer sessions can be arranged based on your child’s needs.

I have a strong foundation in algebra, geometry, and general math skills and experience working with middle and high school students.
