About Bauyrzhan

Hi, I’m Bauyrzhan — a qualified and experienced Maths and Physics teacher with over 10 years of teaching behind me. My academic background includes a PhD and a UK PGCE, and I’ve worked across a wide range of educational settings, from universities to international schools. I’m committed to helping each student succeed by making challenging subjects clearer and more approachable. Professional, patient, and structured in my approach, I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, overcome difficulties, and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

My teaching is tailored to each student’s individual pace and goals. I break down complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations and focus on building a deep understanding, not just memorising formulae. I use a mix of visual tools, guided practice, exam-style questions, and past papers. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I also offer 90-minute sessions for exam prep or revision. I hold a PhD in Nuclear Physics and a PGCE from Kingston University. I’ve taught at university, in state and private schools, and now work in a London education centre. I teach students from age 11+, including those preparing for GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, AS-Level, and SAT exams, as well as those looking to improve general understanding or gain confidence in Maths and Physics.
