About Cathy

I am a professional Guitar tutor with 14 years of dedicated teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn guitar in a structured and practical way. Over the years, I have helped many students grow from beginners to confident performers.

My teaching philosophy is based on strong basics and continuous improvement. I believe that understanding chords, rhythm, and technique clearly is the key to success. I guide students step by step and make sure they practise correctly and consistently.

Many of my students have performed in school annual functions, college cultural events, and live programmes. Some have even taken music seriously and improved to advanced levels. Their achievements reflect my commitment as a teacher.

I create a friendly and disciplined environment where students feel motivated and comfortable. My goal is to help every learner enjoy music and build confidence through guitar.

About the lesson

My Guitar teaching methodology is centred on clear learning, steady progress, and creative confidence. I believe that every student can succeed with the right balance of guidance and practice. I follow Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity in every class. I begin by focusing on strong fundamentals such as correct posture, tuning, finger strength, chord transitions, and rhythm accuracy.

These basics help students build confidence and avoid bad habits. Motivation keeps students inspired to practise consistently and overcome difficulties patiently. I support them with positive feedback and realistic goals. Communication ensures that every technique and theory concept is explained in simple and understandable language.

Integrity guides me to maintain proper standards and teach with honesty and discipline. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, songwriting exercises, and exploring different music genres. I also teach music theory, ear training, and performance preparation to help students become complete musicians.
