About Anne

Hi there! My name is Anne, and I'm a young teacher who will be graduating from the Bachelor of Education program in French as a second language at Laval University next year. I've been teaching for 3 years now. My teaching techniques and approaches are very current. I've had the opportunity to teach French as a second and foreign language in Prince Edward Island, Canada, in Quebec City with francization, where I taught students from over 10 different nationalities (I love cultural diversity in my classes), and also internationally in Argentina. Many schools and teachers could testify positively on my behalf, but it would actually be even better if you could speak to my former students. Just so you know, I'm very understanding and attentive to the challenges of language insecurity, but we'll work hard together to make sure you're proud of your level of French.

About the lesson

I prioritize communicative language teaching, emphasizing real-life communication and practical language use. This involves interactive activities, role-plays, and discussions to engage students actively. I also employ task-based learning techniques, where students work on specific tasks or projects to achieve linguistic goals. Additionally, I integrate multimedia resources and technology to enhance learning experiences.

I tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student, adapting content and pacing accordingly. Drawing from my diverse teaching experiences, I foster an inclusive learning environment that celebrates cultural diversity and promotes intercultural understanding.

My lessons cater to learners of all levels and backgrounds, from beginners to advanced speakers. Whether students are seeking language proficiency for academic, professional, or personal reasons, I provide tailored instruction to support their individual goals.
