About the lesson

I am a native Spanish teacher from Spain who currently teaches at a Secondary School in London since the last 5 years. I am experienced at teaching Spanish to all year groups at Key Stage 3 and also delivering the GCSE course to KS5. I teach adults be it either 'tourist' Spanish or a more detailed or professional Spanish. updates in education so I know what is needed and expected by exam boards. I am a very experienced, responsible and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to building a supportive relationship with students. I am a professional with a proven ability to teach, motivate and direct learners to maximum performance by encouraging a positive, safe and engaging environment. I feel passionate about transmitting curiosity and promoting interest about the diversity of the Spanish-speaking world. I can offer one-to-one. I make lessons enjoyable, fun but also very professionally orientated. I use diverse materials/methods that are adapted to each individual.

I started taking Spanish lessons with Rosa a few weeks ago and had no previous knowledge of the language whatsoever. After 2 - 3 one on one lessons I have a grasp of the basic greetings and also am able to speak about my age, siblings and where I live and come from. I also have started into numbers and am looking forward to the journey of learning the language with Rosa as my tutor.

I have known Ms Iglesias for the last three years as we had been working in the same high school. It was a pleasure working with her, Rosa is smart, kind, hard worker, dedicated, creative and professional teacher. She is also team player and a joy to work with. I feel that any of her student will be lucky to have her and will benefit from her way of teaching. I myself learn a lot from her as a colleague and as a human being. At some point I asked Rosa to help me learn Spanish since I plan to travel to Spain in the summer. Rosa agreed and helped me for a few month before my travel. Learning with her was a great experience.
