About Ally
Hello, my name is Ally.
I am an Australian who lives in London, England. My passion is to travel the world, meet wonderful and interesting people and to experience different cultures around the world. I love sport, music and have a very creative side where I enjoy singing, painting and fashion design.
I have a Bachelor in Nursing and have been a nurse for 8 years, tutoring many students and nurses in that time. I am very enthusiastic and excited to now teach English to students all around the world!
My classroom has an open door! Whether you are a student needing to improve grammar and sentence structuring. Or you're an International nurse needing to pass IELT exams. Perhaps you need help building the perfect CV for a job application or interview preparation for your dream job. Maybe you just need to improve your communication and conversational skills as you are living in an English speaking country. Whatever your needs and goals are, I can help.
Learning a new language can be daunting and scary, but it is not impossible! And the key to success is making it fun and relatable. My lessons are creative and engaging so you can successfully achieve any English language goals you have.

Online 60-minute lessons, so you can attend from anywhere in the world and it can be flexible around busy schedules.
Student goals are important, so we will discuss the goals you have with nursing, language and any specific areas you would like to work on. Lessons will be individually tailored around your needs.
Our lessons will be engaging and fun! We will use many forms of media, resources and learning tools that allow you to learn in a creative way.
If you are searching for an English language teacher, we will cover: English grammar points, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency and accuracy, sentence structuring, conversation and much more! We will use the four areas of language learning: Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening to develop your English language skills and communication capabilities.
As an experienced nurse, I also help International nurses to improve their English language skills prior to undertaking the IELTS exams when applying to nurse in the UK with the NMC.
IELTS lessons will cover medical terminology and communication skills. Improve reading, writing and pronunciation. We will run medical scenarios (e.g. patient admissions, handover and ISBAR), and cover clinical competencies and policies before beginning your preparation for the OSCE exams. Let's get your NMC pin!
