About Ana Maria

I am a qualified English tutor with an MA in TESOL and experience teaching online and face-to-face. I offer personalised English lessons focused on communication, confidence-building, and exam preparation. I enjoy working with learners from different backgrounds and creating supportive, engaging online lessons tailored to individual goals.

About the lesson

I am a qualified English tutor with a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a strong academic background in language and linguistics. I have experience teaching English both online and face-to-face to adults, professionals, and young learners, supporting them in developing confidence and accuracy across all language skills. My lessons are fully personalised and designed around each learner’s goals, level, and learning style. I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills, with a strong focus on practical language use and real-life communication. I also have experience preparing students for Cambridge English examinations, including FCE and CAE (C1 Advanced). I particularly enjoy working with learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and see language learning as a collaborative process. Teaching online allows me to connect with students worldwide, which continually strengthens my own professional development and cultural awareness. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and engaging. I aim to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable making progress, asking questions, and building confidence in their English skills.
