I had the pleasure of having Verena as both my maths, and English teacher in high school and I can honestly say that I could not have had someone more passionate, articulate, creative and compassionate (within and without the classroom). Verena helped me to gain confidence in my mathematics skills and I recall one particular class during English whereby we were encouraged to create our own rap/song for a poem after reading the lyrics to the popular hit "smells like teen spirit" as a means of discovering and exploring the beauty of poetry. I think that particular lesson has stuck with all whom had the pleasure of being taught by Verena. I cannot recommend her services enough.

Verona is patient and kind. She brings out the best in every student and broughy my English mark up to a C (60's) in Matric. She is passionate about what she does and passes this passion to whoever she teaches

She is compassionate, caring and pays attention to details. She gets involved in her lessons, ensures that her students are on the same page, goes the extra mile for those falling behind. She is an exceptional teacher.

Verena's ability to bring language to life was quite spectacular. She inspired an amazing thirst to read as much as possible, not only to read the words, but actually drink them in and form an attachment to the writers intention. I loved her straight forward attitude to various works and how she was fearless in expressing her passion for English writing. She was brilliant at addressing individual student needs and adjusting the instruction to fit each individuals level of understanding, and knew what to do bring everyone up to the required level, but at their own pace and learning in their own way.

Verena was an educator at my son's school, she was an excellent role model, a confidante and a passionate teacher, her love for her subject is evident and her energy is tangible there is no way a student can not strive to be their very best under her tutelage.

I've known Verena for years and have found her to be the most passionate teacher I have ever met. She teaches with passion and enthusiasm and I've witnessed the respect and love her students have had for her. Verena is dedicated to her students, extremely patient with each individual and easily recognises the individual needs of each student. Verena grasps the English language far better than anyone I know and as a teacher she excels in imparting information to others as well as that same love for the language, poetry and literature. Verena has always been a great help to me.

Verena has been marking Gauteng matric English papers for many years. Her dedication to allowing learners to explore their talent and overcome their fears on stage is amazing. All her learners come away with confidence. I highly recommend her.

There are no words to describe how amazing this woman is. She was my musical director at school. The amount of patience this lady has is unbelievable. She dealt with mood, miserable, angry, happy, sad teenagers with such care. She is extremely intelligent and puts the absolute most of herself into something that she is passionate about. I urge anyone and everyone that this lady is awesome at her job and awesome at what she does.

Verena was my 9th grade teacher and she was the best English teacher I have ever had. She not only makes the work enjoyable and fun, but also easy to comprehend and always giving the best tips. I couldn't recommend her more! She's amazing, passionate about English and always makes sure you are able to perform to the best of your ability within the subject.

Verena doesn't just care about the syllabus that needs to be taught, she genuinely cares about the success of her learners and she celebrates her learners' individuality. Verena is very knowledgeable about her subjects and understands how to impart this knowledge onto her learners.

I have known Verena for many years and have taught with her for over 8 Years. She is passionate about teaching and students have enjoyed her lively and creative way of making understanding easy and fun. Definitely a great person to have as a tutor.
