About Javed
I am a PhD-qualified Engineering Professor with a strong academic background, including a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Leeds and advanced degrees in Engineering and Computer Science. With extensive teaching experience at both university and secondary levels, I bring depth of knowledge and clarity to every lesson.
Teaching is my passion, and I genuinely enjoy helping students overcome challenges and build confidence in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. My approach focuses on developing strong concepts alongside exam techniques to ensure lasting understanding and excellent results.

My teaching approach is based on building strong conceptual understanding followed by targeted exam preparation. I focus on simplifying complex topics in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science (programming) through step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving. Once the foundation is clear, I guide students through past papers, exam techniques, and time management strategies to ensure top performance.
Each lesson is typically 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and level. Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and adapted to individual learning styles to maximise progress in a short time.
I am a PhD-qualified Engineering Professor with extensive university-level teaching experience, as well as experience supporting GCSE and O Level students. My academic background and practical knowledge enable me to explain concepts clearly, logically, and engagingly.
These lessons are designed for GCSE and O Level students (including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR boards), whether they need help catching up, improving grades, or aiming for the top results.
