About Amiel
My name is Amiel and I am 24 years old, living in South Africa. I am a qualified educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Education (graduating with 21 distinctions) and a holder of a TEFL certificate. I have great experience teaching kids during my four years of study (both online and offline) and have taught at a school last year for 6 months.
I choose teaching because I am passionate about making a difference in the future generations. I want to empower kids to be the best they can be and fall in love with mathematics—like I did back when I was in school.
I believe in teaching math in a fun and enthusiastic way, not in a boring old teacher way, so learners can understand and start to actually enjoy the lesson.
The more enjoyable a lesson is, the more a student will learn.
My hobbies outside of teaching include reading, spending time with family and friends and spending time outdoors.
Lastly, I want to be the teacher that a student looks forward to learn from and the one that actually inspires and resonates with students

I bring about fresh energy and enthusiasm in my lessons and strive to achieve learners' goals. I make my lessons fun, interactive, and engaging. You'll have opportunities to compete in exciting quizzes, solve real-life problems, and even earn plenty of praise along the way.
My lessons are tailored for kids from the ages of 9-15 (grades 4-9) and I am proficient in algebra and geometry.
Don't worry if math isn't your favorite subject or if you've struggled before. Everyone learns at their own pace, and mistakes are not failures—they're proof that you're learning.
So, come with a positive attitude, bring your curiosity, and let's prove that math can actually be one of the most enjoyable subjects you'll ever learn.
