About Alys
I have a chemistry degree from the University of Bath and am a qualified chemistry teacher. I love science, especially chemistry, and am passionate about teaching these subjects. I love to see pupils' confidence grow as they progress, and their success in exams. I am very friendly and patient and always try to make my lessons enjoyable and positive.

My lessons involve an initial placement test to diagnose areas where students need support. I teach using past papers as this is the most efficient way to ensure exam success. However, I also go into more depth for trickier concepts and tailor my explanations on a pupil by pupil basis. I always endeavor to make my lessons a calm environment where pupils are comfortable and feel confident that they can succeed.
