About Neha
My name is Neha, I am a self-taught barista, who got taught how to make coffee once for an hour and unfortunately was expected to become an expert overnight! However, that is not how it works or how it should.
So I taught myself continuously every day at my cafe until I became a visual learner and started practicing tricks and top tips to help the people I help now become experts.
I want to be able to teach anyone wanting to learn or become good at coffee art or wanting to understand machinery and how they work in a more personal tone and with well thought out guidance.
You will be working with top of the market equipments - just installed a new three head machine a month ago! - and quality products to go with it.

I run my own cafe that is known for it's coffee and does approximately 30-40kg of coffee beans every week.
I can teach via videos if it's easier or I can even get you to come into my cafe after hours (any time after 3pm Monday - Friday).
My lessons will be 30-60 minutes long however, this can be discussed as we go on.
You will have access to my brand new three head coffee machine which is not common in New Zealand, all the gadgets on site, and free coffee!
I have taught a countless number of people in the past three and a half years in which three of these people have now become head baristas at my cafe.
My lessons are typically for entry level young adults but ready to help anyone wanting to learn how to make coffee, make their mark in the industry or just looking for some part time fun!
