About Kate

Hello! My name is Kate and I am a classical violin student at Queensland Conservatorium. I have experience teaching through my school's strings program and have a good rapport with younger students. When I was younger, I did not get to have a private tutor. I want to help students through the early years of their musical education to support them to become skilled and confident violinists. I also have experience teaching older beginner students, I believe it's never too late to start!

About the lesson

Lessons are modeled to be fun and engaging, while also providing students with a strong foundation of scales and proper posture. I am flexible and am able to tailor my lessons to meet the needs and learning styles of my students. My lessons aim to support students' musical endeavors through practical methods and foster their passion for music. I offer for completely new players to have a trial lesson, where you are able to borrow a violin from me for the duration of the lesson (full size only). 1 hour- $50 30 minutes- $30
