About Mercy

I am a Python tutor with 6 years of experience teaching students at all levels—from complete beginners to advanced learners. I have helped over 200 students, and in some batches, up to 300, understand Python in a simple and practical way. My goal is always to make coding easy to learn and fun to explore. My teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, patience, and building real understanding. I believe that anyone can learn to code with the right guidance and support. I focus on problem-solving, creative thinking, and making sure each student feels confident using Python in real-life tasks. One of my proudest achievements is seeing many of my students go on to build their own projects, pass technical interviews, or start careers in tech. Whether you're just starting out or looking to grow your skills, I’m here to guide you step-by-step on your Python journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach to Python is rooted in clear, practical learning, with a focus on creativity and student motivation. I start with the basics and build step-by-step, ensuring that each concept—whether it's variables, loops, or functions—is fully understood before moving forward. I also encourage learners to think creatively when solving problems, helping them to connect coding with real-life applications.

Alongside core Python topics, I support related areas like data structures, web development, automation, and basic data science. My sessions are culturally sensitive and inclusive, making sure that all students feel respected, heard, and supported. I adapt lessons based on each student’s pace, background, and goals, which helps boost their confidence and interest in coding.

Every lesson is designed to help students grow both technically and personally. I use small projects and exercises to make learning more engaging and fun. Whether you're writing your first line of code or improving existing skills, I’m here to guide you toward success in a way that makes learning Python both accessible and exciting.
