About Erika
The most satisfying thing about teaching people how to read and write, is seeing how proud they are to be able to express themselves. Being able to communicate effectively has changed many of my client's lives, lifted their self-esteem and allowed them to achieve their dreams.
Working as an acquisitions editor for several publishing companies means I know what it takes to write a good book. I know what it takes to grab a reader’s interest and keep them turning pages.
I’ve had magazine articles published in prestigious national magazines. I can teach you how to effectively research, write and pitch ideas to magazines.
As a ghostwriter, I’ve written nonfiction and fiction books for clients to a high standard, garnering good sales and excellent reader reviews. I can teach you how to write a book that sells.

~ My classes include set lesson plans that can be tailored to meet individual needs. Students will be given tasks at the end of each lesson. These tasks will be marked and in-depth feedback will be given.
~ Lessons and tasks take one hour each.
~ I have volunteered for several years teaching intellectually handicapped people how to read and write. As an acquisitions editor, I gave my writers in-depth feedback about how to improve their writing.
~ Lessons are for people of all ages and abilities. A basic understanding of the English language is required.
