About Manav

Obviously, I am a passionate debater! As a former President and coach of the University College London debating society I competed at the university level.
Currently, I work a banking job in New York City.
I enjoy working out and I fight Muay Thai.

About the lesson

I take a student based approach. I've taken students who've never debated before to winning competitions within a matter of months. I also focus on helping more introverted students become powerful self-advocates. Lessons in argument construction take students to a new level not only in spoken-thought but written word in essays and assignments.

My qualifications are simple: I have made finals at the largest and most competitive debating competitions on the planet. I've been the debating coach at a prestigious London private school and I've taught economics and politics to high-school students and Oxford and Princeton University summer schools. I currently also coach the Ethiopian National Debating team.

My lessons are for all students of any ability with a clear goal in mind. We set incremental goals to make sure that the bigger picture is achieved.
