About Angela

As a certified educator with 13 years of experience in elementary education, I’ve spent my career helping young learners build strong foundations in reading, writing, and critical thinking. My training in the Science of Reading equips me with a deep understanding of how children learn to read—and how to guide them through every step of that journey. I’ve completed extensive professional development focused on early childhood education for grades K-6. This means I don’t just teach the material—I tailor every lesson to the developmental needs of each child, using strategies that are proven to work in real classrooms. As your tutor, you can expect consistency, patience, and a high level of professionalism. I take my role seriously and strive to create a safe, supportive learning space where students feel empowered to grow. I am also a local mom, baseball manager, and LVF board member so my commitment to community and passion for teaching makes me an excellent candidate.
