About Sumaya

I'm a first-year psychology undergraduate student with a record of academic success - ten grade 9s at GCSE and A*A*A at A-level. This is a testament to my dedication, strong work ethic, and comprehensive understanding of the subjects.

As your tutor, I'm committed to not only sharing my knowledge, but also employing effective teaching strategies tailored to your unique learning style. I aim to make difficult material more accessible by breaking down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-grasp concepts. Together, we'll work through the material, ensuring you have a thorough understanding and feel confident in your exam and revision techniques.

The atmosphere will be super informal/low-pressure and I'll do my best to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. Feel free to get in touch with any questions and I hope to see you soon :)

About the lesson

~ Lessons are 1 hour long and suitable for GCSE and A-level students studying biology, chemistry or psychology.

~ Students can pick the topics they would like extra help with (they should have already covered it in school) and the lessons will be tailored to each individual's needs.

~ Lessons will typically include an explanation of the chosen topic using various online resources. This will be followed by us working through a few exam questions together, ensuring the student has a complete understanding of how to answer different types of questions.

Your first session will be 30 minutes and will be spent getting to know you and your learning needs/preferences. It allows you to get a feel of the sessions to see if you'd like to continue. This session will be free of charge.
