About Summer

I am currently in my last semester of undergrad at Bowling Green State University, majoring in psychology and minoring in child development. I am currently 19 years old and have completed my bachelor's in only 2 years! I have tutored various age ranges and have a lot of experience explaining real-world techniques in relation to the coursework I am assisting with. I also currently work at an elementary school but I work great with children and adults of all ages!

About the lesson

- I am a passionate psychology student who enjoys tutoring a wide range of subjects to middle schoolers, high schoolers, and college students. My expertise spans math, science, humanities, arts, and much more, providing a well-rounded tutoring experience. My approach focuses on real-world problem-solving skills, equipping students with the tools they need not only for academic success but for practical application in everyday life. - I believe in an interactive and personalized teaching method, where every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs and learning style. I use a blend of practical examples, hands-on activities, and thought-provoking questions that encourage critical thinking and engagement. By connecting academic concepts to real-world scenarios, I make learning more meaningful and relatable, helping students grasp even the most challenging topics. - Each lesson is structured to start with a brief review of previous material to reinforce understanding. I then introduce new concepts with engaging activities or problem-solving exercises. After that, we work through assignments or questions together, ensuring that students gain confidence in their abilities. Finally, I provide feedback and follow-up activities to reinforce learning and offer further support. - What truly sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students of various age groups. Being young myself, I find it easier to relate to the challenges students face at different educational levels. My dynamic approach creates a comfortable, open environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
