About Leslie
I’m a Psychology student in Texas, originally from Mexico. I love the arts and self-care, and I truly enjoy helping others grow.
I had to learn English in just two years in order to get accepted into a university in the United States and to create better opportunities for my future. Because of that experience, I understand how challenging and exciting it can be to learn a new language.
I know you may want the same: to expand your knowledge and open new doors through Spanish, whether it’s for academic, cultural, travel, or even personal reasons.

As a psychology student and from my own experience learning a different language, I know how important the right methodology is. That’s why I have developed a structured approach to learning Spanish: Grammar → Listening → Speaking.
I usually recommend 1-hour sessions, because after about 45 minutes of new mental activities (such as learning a language), the brain starts to get tired and loses focus. This allows us to stay productive while still keeping the lesson dynamic and enjoyable.
I have previous experience working with tourists in Mexico, and I am currently teaching college students in Texas, where I study.
My lessons are suitable for students from beginner to advanced levels, and I recommend them for learners ages 12 and up.
