I’m Niamh: book-reader, tea-drinker, dog-lover and early years practitioner. I always wanted to be a teacher, but I’ve decided to go beyond and train to be an educational psychologist - but this doesn’t cloud my desire to teach!

Teaching was always my passion - but I’ve decided to go beyond and study psychology in order to become and educational psychologist. I’d love to fulfil my teaching dreams still, by tutoring. I love all things Early Years, but have experience in all Primary years. I am able to provide fun material for maths and phonics for up to Year 2 level, to help them meet expectations in their SATs. Learning should be fun, not a chore! That’s why my lessons are 45mins to 1hour - while your children are still young, overworking the brain in the traditional academic sense will drive them to feel burn out early on. We have to let them experience the joy of learning!
