About Heather

Hi, I'm Heather, a dedicated tutor and psychology graduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with over 15 years of experience working with children. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Highest Honors, specializing in cross-cultural learning styles and infant/child development. I am currently a full-time private art, math, and English tutor as I pursue a Masters in Divinity through Global Awakening Theological Seminary. I've completed several education classes and achieved outstanding scores on the CBEST, exceeding the requirements for public school teaching. Additionally, I'm trained in the Davis Dyslexia Clay Model Method, offering specialized support for students with dyslexia. Graduating in the top 5% of my class and getting the highest possible score in AB Calculus, I have a proven track record of academic excellence.
