About Shermira
I have been teaching English for nearly 10 years and have enjoyed it due to my passion for people and their improvement, my fascination for different communication styles and my love for literature. Studying psychology has informed my approach in the classroom, tailoring each lesson to the needs of the student. Outside of work, my hobbies include hiking, training my dog, learning about zoology and martial arts.

I strive to create a relaxed, engaging and supportive environment wherein students can grow and learn, never being afraid to make mistakes. Having a background in psychology, I am particularly well-equipped to understand and work with different students and their varied learning styles. I am also used to working with those who are neurodiverse.
