About Gia

Hello! I'm a Psychology graduate with Honors and Research, passionate about teaching and helping students learn with confidence.

During my school internship at G.D. Goenka Public School, Dwarka, I taught Psychology to students in Classes 11 and 12. I gained experience simplifying complex concepts, connecting theories to real-life examples and supporting students with different learning needs through my work in school counseling and special education.

My teaching approach is interactive, structured and student-focused. I use clear explanations, relatable examples, discussions and exam-oriented practice to build conceptual understanding rather than encourage rote memorization. I also tailor my lessons to each student's learning pace, academic goals and areas of difficulty.

I aim to create a friendly, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring the subject. My goal is to make Psychology engaging, accessible and enjoyable while helping students strengthen their understanding and perform confidently in examinations.

My teaching approach focuses on making learning engaging, structured and easy to understand. As a Psychology graduate with experience teaching school students, I believe every student learns differently, and my aim is to help each one build confidence, strengthen their understanding and enjoy the learning process.

My teaching methods

I use clear explanations, relatable examples, interactive discussions and practical applications to make concepts easier to understand and remember. Rather than encouraging rote memorisation, I focus on helping students understand the logic behind what they learn. For exam preparation, I also incorporate structured revision, practice questions, answer-writing techniques and regular feedback.

Structure of a typical class

Each class begins with a brief recap of previous concepts and an understanding of the student's learning goals. We then explore the topic step by step, using examples and discussions to clarify difficult concepts. The session concludes with a quick review, practice questions or a short assessment to reinforce learning and identify areas that need further attention.

What makes my classes different

With a background in Psychology, I understand the importance of individual learning styles, motivation and confidence. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. My teaching experience has also helped me develop the ability to explain concepts patiently and adapt my approach to each student's needs.
