About Priska

With my background in psychology and experience as a teacher assistant within the school district, I bring a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and structure to my tutoring sessions. My prior work as a teacher assistant and my experience mentoring young people have equipped me with strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students. I understand the importance of creating a supportive, respectful environment that encourages learning. My capabilities include helping kids develop study habits, critical thinking skills, and self-discipline, while also making lessons engaging and relevant to their needs. I’m patient, organized, and committed to helping students succeed academically and personally.

About the lesson

My teaching method is rooted in understanding each student's unique learning style, combining psychology principles with tailored instruction. I use interactive techniques, such as active discussions and problem-solving activities, to make lessons both engaging and practical. By breaking complex concepts into digestible parts, I ensure that students grasp key ideas and feel confident applying them.

A typical lesson plan begins with a brief review of prior material, followed by introducing new content through examples and interactive exercises. I incorporate real-world applications and allow time for questions and feedback to solidify understanding.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my background in psychology and experience as a former teacher assistant of 3 years. I not only teach the material but also help students develop better study habits, time management skills, and strategies to reduce academic stress. This holistic approach ensures long-term success, not just short-term memorization.
