About Maclynjoy

Hello! I’m a Psychology graduate, TESOL-certified English tutor, and Registered Psychometrician with several years of experience teaching English to students from different backgrounds and proficiency levels.

Throughout my teaching experience, I’ve worked with both young learners and adults, from beginners taking their first steps in English to advanced students who want to strengthen their conversational skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence.

My background in Psychology has also given me a deeper understanding of individual differences, communication, motivation, and learning. I believe that every student learns differently, so I strive to create a supportive and comfortable environment where my students feel confident expressing themselves, asking questions, and making mistakes without fear of judgment.

As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, prepared, and committed to helping my students make meaningful progress. I take the time to understand each student's goals and tailor my approach accordingly.

More than simply teaching English, I want to help my students become confident communicators who can use the language naturally in real-life situations.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your English goals!

About the lesson

Hi! I’m an experienced ESL tutor and a Psychology graduate who is passionate about helping students become more confident and comfortable using English.

My lessons are personalized according to your level, goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, speaking confidence, or simply become more comfortable expressing yourself in English, I’ll create lessons that fit your needs.

I believe that learning English should be engaging and enjoyable, not intimidating. That’s why I incorporate conversations, games, real-life topics, vocabulary activities, discussions, and interactive exercises into my classes. I also encourage my students to speak as much as possible because the best way to build confidence is to actually use the language!

With my background in Psychology, I understand that every learner is different. Some students need more encouragement, some learn better through visuals and activities, while others enjoy deeper conversations and challenging discussions. I adjust my teaching approach to help you learn at your own pace.

I work with learners of different ages and English levels, from beginners who are just starting their English journey to advanced students who want to refine their communication skills.

My goal is simple: to create a comfortable space where you can practice, make mistakes, learn, and gradually become a more confident English speaker.

I’d be happy to be part of your English-learning journey. See you in class!
