About Ivar
I am a committed ESL tutor with 12 years of experience helping high school and college students learn English. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I always aim to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I have worked with around 150 to 200 students, helping them improve step by step.
This experience has helped me become a patient and understanding teacher. A major milestone in my journey has been helping students gain confidence in speaking English. Many of them have improved their communication skills and academic performance.
My teaching approach is simple, interactive, and encouraging. I create a comfortable environment where students feel motivated to learn. My goal is to help students grow and succeed in their English learning journey.

My ESL teaching approach combines practical learning, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving. I use case studies and real-life situations to show how English is applied in everyday life, work, and academics. Motivation is central to my teaching, and I create a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to participate and take risks.
Problem-solving exercises, such as role-plays, discussions, and scenario simulations, help students think critically and respond confidently in English. I teach with integrity by providing honest feedback and guiding students step by step.
Flexibility is also a key part of my approach, allowing lessons to adapt to each student’s level, pace, and goals. In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing skills to build complete language competence.
