About Rosalie
I graduated in 1997 from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Secretarial Administration. I am currently living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My current profession is a Sr. Financial Advisor with one of the banks in Canada. My passion is to support young students learning English. Be able to read and write and master their English vocabulary. I use methods to help students improve their reading comprehension, focus on specific comprehension strategies, such as summarizing, questioning, and predicting. Graphic organizers like story maps and Venn diagrams help students visualize relationships between the ideas in a text. Read-aloud activities, discussion, and reading exercises.
