About Ana
I have been teaching violin for 6 years, guiding students of all ages—from children just beginning their musical journey to college students and working professionals aiming to refine their skills. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, encouragement, and creating lessons tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.
I emphasise building technical skills, sight-reading, music theory, and expressive performance abilities. Over 200 students have studied under my guidance, many of whom have performed successfully in recitals, competitions, and concerts.
My lessons combine structured practice with creative exercises, making learning both enjoyable and effective. I aim to help students grow as confident musicians while developing a lifelong love for the violin.

My teaching methodology combines compassion, clear communication, and supportiveness to provide lessons that are student-centred, engaging, and effective. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace, style, and goals, making learning the violin enjoyable, motivating, and confidence-building.
I use step-by-step instruction, demonstrations, and creative exercises, helping students develop technical skills, musicality, and self-expression. I encourage questions, active participation, and exploration to make lessons interactive, meaningful, and inspiring.
Being supportive is central to my approach. I celebrate achievements, provide constructive guidance, and help students overcome challenges while fostering confidence, independence, and creativity. Lessons balance technical mastery, artistic expression, and personal growth.
Beyond violin, I teach other subjects using the same compassionate and communicative methodology, inspiring curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning and music.
