About Briar

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and have 7 years of teaching experience. My interest in programming began when I discovered how logic can be used to create useful solutions. Over time, I developed a passion for teaching and helping students understand coding in a simple and effective way.

My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and hands-on learning. I break down complex coding concepts into simple steps so students can understand them easily. I encourage students to practice during lessons and ask questions freely, creating a supportive learning environment.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy working on coding projects and exploring new technologies. Teaching programming is rewarding because I see students grow from beginners to confident coders. Helping them build useful skills and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication.

About the lesson

Programming becomes easier when students understand how logic works step by step instead of memorizing code. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in Python, algorithms, and structured problem solving through clear explanations. I guide students to understand how each line of code functions and how different parts connect. Each session is interactive and supportive, allowing learners to experiment, make mistakes, and learn confidently.

I tailor lessons based on the learner’s experience. Beginners start with basic concepts like variables, loops, and conditions with simple examples. Intermediate students explore functions, data structures, and debugging techniques. Advanced learners focus on algorithms, optimization, and building small projects. Practice coding tasks and step-by-step guidance are included in every lesson to ensure steady improvement.

Programming helps students develop logical thinking and creativity. As they gain confidence, they begin to enjoy building programs and solving problems independently. Many students feel excited when they see their code working successfully. My goal is to make programming simple, practical, and engaging so students can build strong skills and confidence.
