About Jake

My interest in programming started with the excitement of creating something functional from pure logic. I completed a B.Sc in Information Technology and later an M.Sc in Computer Applications, which gave me both technical depth and practical software understanding. With 5 years of tutoring experience, I have guided students towards strong foundations and steady progress.

I believe programming should be taught with clarity, patience, and real understanding. My teaching style focuses on helping students grasp concepts deeply so they can solve problems independently rather than relying on memorised patterns.

Outside of teaching, I remain engaged with coding through continuous learning, software projects, and exploring modern development tools. Teaching is rewarding because I see students grow into confident problem-solvers who can build meaningful solutions in today’s digital world.

About the lesson

Programming becomes enjoyable when students understand that coding is simply problem-solving expressed through logic. My lessons focus on helping learners build strong foundations in Python, Java, algorithms, and structured programming thinking. I guide students step by step so they feel comfortable experimenting, learning from errors, and steadily improving their skills.

Lessons are adapted carefully to the learner’s stage. Beginners explore core building blocks such as variables, loops, conditions, and simple functions with supportive guidance. Intermediate students strengthen debugging, modular programme design, and project development. Advanced learners work on algorithm efficiency, object-oriented systems, technical interviews, and larger application-building with deeper confidence.

Programming lessons also build independence and creativity. Students develop patience, analytical reasoning, and the ability to create solutions from scratch. My goal is to help learners feel empowered in technology, confident in their coding ability, and excited to keep growing as programmers.
