About Tanya

My interest in programming started with a curiosity about how digital systems and applications are created. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, where I developed strong knowledge in coding and software logic. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them understand programming in a simple and effective way. My experience has helped me guide learners with patience and adapt to their individual needs.

I believe that programming should be taught in a way that feels simple and approachable. My teaching style focuses on breaking down concepts into smaller parts and using clear examples to explain ideas. I encourage students to practise regularly and explore different solutions, which helps them build confidence and independence. I also provide continuous feedback and support to help them improve steadily.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new programming tools and learning about modern technologies. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching programming is very rewarding because I get to see students grow from beginners into confident learners. Helping them build strong logical thinking and practical skills is something I truly enjoy and value.

About the lesson

Programming becomes easier when learners clearly understand how logic is built step by step into working solutions. In my lessons, I focus on core concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, and functions, explaining each topic in a simple and structured way. I guide students patiently so they understand not just what to write, but why the code works. I use small, practical examples that relate to everyday situations, helping students connect theory with real application. Each session is designed to feel comfortable and encouraging, allowing students to ask questions openly and learn without fear of making mistakes. This supportive environment helps learners build confidence steadily while improving their coding ability.

As students move forward, lessons become more focused on structured programming and deeper understanding. Beginners start with simple coding exercises and guided support. Intermediate learners work on organising code, debugging errors, and improving logic clarity. Advanced learners focus on algorithms, problem solving, and building small projects. I include regular practice, feedback, and revision to ensure steady progress. This approach helps students strengthen their understanding and apply concepts effectively.

Programming also helps students develop analytical thinking, patience, and creativity. As they grow, they begin to approach problems in a structured way and find solutions independently. They learn to break down complex tasks into smaller steps and build them logically. My goal is to help students feel confident in coding and develop skills that are valuable for future learning and career growth.
