About Liv

With 10 years of teaching and professional experience, I am an enthusiastic Piano tutor who is deeply committed to quality education and student growth. I teach school and college students, helping them develop both technical skills and strong self-confidence.

Over the years, I have guided many students from simple exercises to advanced pieces, and watching their progress has been the most rewarding part of my journey. Some of my proudest moments include preparing students for stage performances and seeing them overcome nervousness to perform beautifully.

My teaching style focuses on building a strong foundation in music theory, rhythm timing, finger coordination, and correct posture. I believe that strong basics are the key to long-term success in Piano learning. At the same time, I encourage creativity and emotional connection with music, because playing Piano is not just about accuracy but also about expression. I maintain a disciplined yet friendly learning environment where students feel motivated and supported.

I understand that each student learns differently, so I personalise my lessons according to their pace and goals. Music education builds patience, focus, and determination, and I am proud to help students develop these qualities. Teaching Piano is not only my profession but also my true passion.

About the lesson

My teaching method for piano focuses on helping students build confidence, technical skill, and creativity through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I design personalised lesson plans that combine technique drills, theoretical understanding, and performance practice.

Motivation helps students remain dedicated, so I encourage them with constructive praise and achievable goals. Communication is simple and detailed, ensuring clarity in rhythm patterns, dynamics, articulation, scale techniques, and chord progressions.

I provide hands-on guidance and repeat lessons when necessary to build strong foundations. Integrity guides my professional approach, as I maintain punctuality, structured progress tracking, and honest feedback.

Creativity is integrated into lessons through improvisation, chord exploration, and expressive interpretation of songs. Besides piano, I also teach music theory, harmony basics, rhythm training, and keyboard techniques for complete musical education.
