About Donna Lea

As a seasoned educator with 14 years of experience, I, Donna Lea Buendia, have had the privilege of shaping the minds of students from diverse cultural backgrounds. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, which laid the foundation for my subsequent pursuit of Master's degrees in Psychology and Education, with a specialization in Special Education. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in Industrial Psychology, further refining my knowledge and expertise in the field.
Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to excellence. As a licensed professional teacher and Certified Human Resource Associate, I have worked in the human resource industry for three years, honing my skills in talent management, training and development, and organizational performance. My credentials have been recognized through various awards, including the Best Professor Award, Commendation for Excellent Performance as Faculty Member, Best in Thesis Award, and UPHSD Top 6 Scientist in the AD Scientific Index.
My research endeavors have been marked by international publications, showcasing my ability to think critically and contribute to the global knowledge base. My research interests lie at the intersection of psychology, education, and human resource management. My academic credentials are complemented by industry experience, research publications, and awards that recognize my excellence as a scholar-practitioner. As a candidate for the Doctoral degree in Industrial Psychology, I am poised to make a meaningful impact in the field of psychology education and research.

About the lesson

The field of Psychology is a dynamic and constantly evolving discipline. My lessons and teaching methods and strategies will target the needs of the students, highlight their strengths and limitation as well as their impact in student learning. The lessons will include lecture-based approach with audio-visual presentations, videos and diagrams. Another method that I utilize is a case study approach. This method involves real life scenarios to promote critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills. Formative assessments shall also be given to measure the knowledge gained from the lessons.
This lessons are intended for Psychology major students or even non-Psychology major who are enthusiastic to learn about this field.
