About Maíra
I taught at Cultura Inglesa for 10 years, between RO, RJ and Belém. I worked for UERJ, PETROBRAS and Marinha do Brasil and Enel Green Power with Business English in Rio de Janeiro. I have experience with Portuguese for Foreigners and English for Specific Purposes (medicine, travel etc). I was an Academic Advisor of Bilingual Education, giving assistance to schools and teacher training of schools with Bilingual program of the International School between Pará, Maranhão and Piauí, also worked in Belém and São Paulo.

My approach to teaching is one that best meets the individual needs of each student. For this, I use several methods. I give classes from General English to English for Specific Purposes, such as Instrumental English or preparatory courses to obtain Cambridge University Certificates, both for language proficiency and for teaching proficiency. I am also authorized to apply the latter.
