About Tedra

I am a legal professional, educator, and mentor with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I earned my Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Mercer University School of Law and my LL.M. in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law. Having worked in various areas both in law and business, I bring both academic knowledge and practical legal experience to my tutoring sessions.

Throughout my career, I have worked in legal research, legal writing, litigation support, criminal law, real estate development, contracts, and public-sector leadership. I understand that law can feel overwhelming, especially when students are faced with complex cases, unfamiliar terminology, or high-stakes exams. My goal is to simplify difficult concepts, teach effective study strategies, and help students develop the analytical skills necessary to succeed.

As a tutor, I create a supportive, judgment-free learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges. I tailor each session to the student's individual needs, learning style, and academic objectives. Whether you are preparing for the LSAT, navigating your first year of law school, improving your legal writing, or seeking help in a specific legal subject, I am committed to helping you build both competence and confidence.

About the lesson

I believe the key to success in law school, the LSAT, and legal studies is not simply memorizing information—it is learning how to think like a lawyer. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex legal concepts into understandable, practical frameworks while helping students develop strong analytical, writing, and exam-taking skills.

Teaching Method & Techniques

My tutoring style is interactive, structured, and tailored to each student's learning style. I use:

Plain-language explanations of complex legal concepts
