I have a Master's Degree in English Literature and have 10+ years of experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. I was an enthusiastic student with a love for writing and English Literature, and now I share that passion with my students. I truly believe every student is capable of not only learning but also finding joy in reading and developing their voice as a writer.

I understand that every student learns differently, that's why my lessons are created with accessibility in mind.
I have worked with diverse populations from all backgrounds and abilities. This includes students who are blind, visually impaired or low-vision, students on the spectrum, and students who may exhibit mental health symptoms ranging from ADHD, selective mutism, and Bipolar Disorder.
I have a patient, fun, and warm approach to learning, and I believe every student is capable of growth.
My tutoring focuses on developing reading skills for ages 5 - 8, and reading and writing skills for 5th grade through college. I provide individualized reading lessons, as well as assistance for any existing writing assignments.
Although my lessons are in English, I am fluent in Spanish and will gladly work with Spanish-speaking families.
