About TEJAS
I am very fortunate to have been trained under the guidance of Pt. Ajay Pohankar for Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal) as well as Indian Classical Keyboard from Abhijit Pohankar.
Educational Background -
I have completed a Diploma in Sound Engineering from SAE International College.
I have completed a bachelor's in Indian Classical (Vocal) Music.
Experience-
Worked as a Music Programmer with Abhijit Pohankar.
Worked as a Sound Engineer for many films.
Conducting Music classes for the Last 10 Years.

Classes are designed to provide a strong foundation in both Indian classical singing and keyboard instruments. I begin with the basics – understanding the scales, rhythm patterns, and the unique nuances of classical music.
Theory is crucial, but the application is where the magic happens. I focus on practical exercises that help you internalize the concepts.
For singing, I work on vocal exercises and ragas, while keyboard enthusiasts work on fingering techniques and playing popular compositions or songs.
After completing the basics of Music Theory I ask each student to let me know their favorite song, I love to teach that particular song to a particular student and that gives me more satisfaction as a tutor because genuinely I feel that If a student takes keen interest learning their favorite songs he/she learns quickly. After all, I see teaching as a journey to learn something new from each student.
