About Neta

I’m a professional video editor, visual artist, and educator based in New York. I’m currently completing my MFA at Columbia University, where I also teach and support students working with digital media. I’ve worked in video production and editing for artists, cultural institutions, universities, and commercial clients for over a decade. My background combines strong technical experience with an artistic approach to storytelling, rhythm, image, and sound. I enjoy teaching in a clear, patient, and practical way, adapting each lesson to the student’s level and goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are hands-on and tailored to your goals, whether you’re completely new to video editing or already working on a specific project. We can cover Premiere Pro, editing workflow, organizing footage, pacing, sound, color, titles, and exporting — but also the creative side of editing: storytelling, rhythm, structure, and how to make strong choices from your material.

I like to work directly with students’ own footage whenever possible, so each lesson is practical and immediately useful. My goal is to help you become confident and independent in your editing process, not just memorize where the buttons are.
