Throughout my professional journey, I have engaged in diverse teaching activities, spanning from conducting internal training within organisations to instructing in higher education settings. My experience also includes providing private Maths lessons for children and young individuals. As a tutor, I take pride in supporting learners on their Maths learning journey by offering detailed explanations, ample practice opportunities, and crafting engaging lessons tailored to enhance their skills and confidence. To ensure effective learning, I constantly review the current mathematics curriculum and its teaching methodologies. By identifying the areas that often present challenges for students, I create personalised lessons that precisely address the unique needs of each learner.

About the lesson

Indeed, maths can seem daunting, but that only amplifies the sense of achievement when success is attained! In my teaching approach, I balance gentleness with enthusiasm and challenge, inspiring students to boost their confidence and ignite their fascination with logic and problem-solving. Witnessing their progress and witnessing the rewards of their efforts excite them further as they conquer challenging topics. Recognising the uniqueness of each student, I tailor my teaching method to meet their specific needs. Through a detailed consultation with the student, I gather relevant teaching materials such as notes, exercises, and past papers to create a comprehensive plan. The initial lessons follow this plan, allowing me to assess the student's strengths and weaknesses, and subsequently, adjust the plan accordingly.
