About Tharindu

Hi, I’m Tharindu – a friendly, patient tutor based in Northampton. I have a strong passion for helping people feel confident with everyday technology.

I'm currently studying for a Master’s in Cybersecurity at the University of London. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Computer Science, a Diploma in Information Technology, and a Science degree focused on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Alongside my studies, I work as a Technical Customer Service Coordinator, supporting individuals and businesses with technology and supporting logistics services.

About the lesson

The technology we use every day should feel simple, practical, and stress-free.

I use a step-by-step teaching style with clear, simple explanations without hard technical jargon.

Lessons focus on practical tasks like:

-Using everyday digital apps that you need daily

-Improving privacy while using apps and the internet

-Setting up smartphones, tablets, and computers

-Learning apps like WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, NHS and more

-Setting up devices(computers, tablets, phones etc.)

My goal is to help you understand and use technology confidently, without stress or pressure.

Lessons are ideal for:

-Beginners of all ages

-Parents wanting to protect their children online

-Seniors looking to catch up with modern technology

-Adults who want to feel more confident with phones, apps, or computers

Lessons can be held online or in public places like a local library in Northampton.
