About Shamsiyya

I’m Shamsiyya Safiyanu, a passionate teacher and Hausa language tutor. Teaching has been my passion since childhood, and I enjoy helping learners discover that they can achieve more than they think.
I have years of teaching experience and use a practical, learner-centered approach that adapts to each student’s needs and goals. I believe teaching is also a learning journey—every student I work with teaches me something new.
My goal is simple: to make learning Hausa practical, enjoyable and meaningful

About the lesson

Every student starts differently, so I begin by assessing your current Hausa level and understanding your goals. We then create lessons around what you want to achieve and what you need Hausa for.
Our lessons are practical, engaging and tailored to your learning pace, with a focus on helping you use Hausa confidently in real-life conversations.
Whether you're learning for work, family, travel, culture or personal connection, we'll work towards clear, achievable goals together.
