About Ole

I am a professional software engineer with more than 6 years of practical experience in web development, mathematical modeling, Linux administration, CI / CD and others. I do not have much experience in teaching, but in the normal work environment there is always a place for mentoring or junior developers and for learning from the senior once. I have the most experience in Python and web applications development using Django, PostgreSQL, Docker. I only work with Linux OS. I always use Git as a Version Control System and Vim as an editor. I also have a little experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript and C / C ++. I work with Raspberry Pi's and similar IOT devices running Linux systems. The lessons can only be given in English, since my Dutch is basic.

About the lesson

I do not have much experience in teaching, so I do not have any program. I would mostly focus on narrow topics and practical questions. My classes fit the best to the following categories: - middle, high school, colledge, university students, who have specific questions or tasks, while following their main school classes; - junior software developers, who want to learn a specific topic faster or have a specific question; - prefessionals (PHD students, researchers etc.) from the other (non-it: biology, mathematics, architecture, chemistry etc.) fields, who want to learn more about the implementation of their specific models in Python. - children from 10 years old, who want to learn Computer Science topics. Feel free to contact me with any child or request for discussion. I can come to the teaching place in the radius of ~ 50 km from The Hague. Possible time for lessons: - Work days from 6:00 pm - Saturday from 1:00 pm - Sunday from 11:00 am

** NOTE ** Due to the nature of my lessons, I do not give free first lesson. Unfortunately, I cannot remove this option from my profile. I can consider a discount on the first lesson. I expect 50% prepayment for the lesson during reservation. If canceled 24 hours before the lesson, full prepayment returned, otherwise no return. If teaching place is further than 20 km, I would ask for additional travel compensation: 20 cents / km (if by car) or full refund of the public transport chip card. This includes traveling both ways. Parking is for the cost of the student. Any other extra costs are not included in the tariff and are for the cost of the student.
